It is the goal of St. Mary's School to help students    grow spiritually, morally, intellectually, emotionally, and physically by providing an atmosphere of Christian community.  St.Mary's emphasizes the nourishment of a positive self-concept for each student and encourages the developement of loving and caring behavior while engaged in the learning process.  Students are helped to develope excellent study skills and learning habits.  Educational expectations and behavioral standards are high.

Our Lady of Belén Parish School -St. Mary's  has been serving the Valencia County community since 1927.  Many of the great grandchildren of the first graduating class (1934) are attending St. Mary's along with children from surrounding communities.  There are currently over 200 students from K to 8th grade.  Alumni are proud to look back at the solid foundation they received at St. Mary's.  Many others also appreciate the strong religious/spiritual growth program and the well-rounded educational experiences which make it possible for students to move on to be successful in whatever they attempt.
