Our Catholic faith is a daily part of life on campus at Saint Mary’s. We participate in school-wide prayer each morning, daily classroom prayers, and weekly Mass on Wednesdays at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. We also have school-wide retreats during Advent and Lent and celebrate our faith with special events and activities including the Living Rosary in October, Stations of the Cross during Lent, the crowning of Mary in May.

Together as third graders we celebrate First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

We participate in regular community service activities as a school and as individual classes.

Hot lunch is offered in our school cafeteria every day.
At Saint Mary's we're committed to the wellness and health of our kids!
Please view our wellness policy to see how we're achieving this.

Our student council is made up of fourth through eighth grade students elected by their classrooms. Together they plan events and activities including school dances, carnivals and spirit days.

We wear a uniform that includes plaid jumpers and skirts for girls and navy blue pants for boys along with white polo shirts. Girls also may wear navy blue pants on most days.

Sports has always been an important part of our extracurricular activities for 5th-through 8th-grade students. Recently we started offering sports for 1st- though 4th grades, We field teams that compete in the Albuquerque Parochial and Independent Athletic League (APIAL) in the sports of flag football, girls volleyball, girls and boys basketball, track and field and girls softball.
