Dear Parents,
I wanted to let you know that after much thought and prayer, I have decided not to return to St. Mary’s School next year.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my six years as principal here and have found it to be the most enjoyable and fulfilling experience of my career. For this, I thank the wonderful students who have attended St. Mary’s during my tenure, the very fine teachers with whom I have worked, and you parents who have supported me and the school.
I plan on staying in the area and will continue to support St. Mary’s School however I can. I will greatly miss the daily involvement, but I know I will be seeing the St. Mary’s family in the community and I look forward to that.
A search committee has been formed to find a replacement and there have been some applicants already, so a new principal should be in place well before school begins next year.
